We were among those fortunate to find frequent shelter and inspiration in the Riverside Drive apartment, where we also communed with so many s/heros who were part of Jennifer’s life and work. 

There was a packed living room for Amilcar Cabral, who spoke as quietly as Jennifer, and that quality forced concentration and attentiveness. When she worked at AllAfrica for a period as it struggled to find its footing, we again benefited from her enormous fund of skills and determination. 

So many thanks to all of you who facilitated this celebration.
